PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide briefs preventing leakage of the humor and oppressive feeling when a urine absorbing pad or a sanitary napkin is worn. SOLUTION: A front body piece 2, a back body piece 3 and a crotch part 4, all of which have elastic expansibility, are sewn together to make the briefs 1. In the front body piece 2, the expansibility in the vertical direction is larger than that in the lateral direction. In the back body piece 2, the expansibilty in the vertical direction is smaller than that in the lateral direction.
