PURPOSE: Cathode-ray tube and flat electrode of electronic gun and production method are provided to make the broken-out section shorter to achieve flat electrode without bur and a desirable flat electrode of electronic gun. CONSTITUTION: A cathode-ray tube comprises a plate having a first hole on a first surface of the plate and a second hole on a second surface of the plate, the first and second holes coupled together to allow electron beams to pass therethrough. The first hole has a first diameter, and the second hole has a second diameter, wherein the first diameter is different than the second diameter.
