PURPOSE: Diet bread obtained by using whole wheat and hard wheat flour as a main material and Cascara Sagrada, Corchorus olitorius and the like as an additive is provided, which has an effect for treatment and prevention of adult disease as well as diet at low cost. CONSTITUTION: A blend of 50 to 60% by weight of whole wheat, 20 to 30% by weight of hard wheat flour, 1.0 to 5.0% by weight of Corchorus olitorius, 1 to 3% by weight of a Cascara Sagrada extract and 1.0 to 5.0% by weight of evening primrose oil is mixed with one of 1.5 to 2.5% by weight of olive oil and 1 to 10% by weight of mannitol. And then the blend is added with sugar, salt and water, kneaded and fermented.
