PURPOSE: A discount system using a membership card is provided to use a PC room at a low cost, increase a number of the members, and supply product information and advertisement information to the members by giving a discount to the members in member stores. CONSTITUTION: A bank(A), an advertiser(B), an administrator(C), a member store(D) and a user(E) are connected with embody the discount system. Here, a PC room is exemplified as the member store(D). The administrator(C) or a server computer of the administrator(C), which collects members through the Internet, provides a card to the user(E) who intends to be a member(CE). The user(E) provides his/her personal information to the administrator(C) or server computer through the Internet or other communication units(EC). The administrator(C) receiving the personal information from the user(E) transmits the personal information to the bank(A). The bank(A) issues a card to the user(E). Here, the card includes the information of the administrator(C) and member(AC). The administrator(C) gives the card to the user(E). The user(E) uses the PC room(D) with the card(ED). The PC room(D) reads the information of the card, and confirms validity of the card through the information of a database connected with the server computer of the administrator(C).
