PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washstand which is capable of housing piping in dead spaces, has water feed and drain means usable on the outside of the washstand and is adjustable in the vertical position of the basin. SOLUTION: This washstand is provided with piping spaces within the column section and in the rear surface segment of a box, is provided with a juncture between a faucet and drain usable for the equipment near the washstand in the column section and is provided with the water feed and drain means dealable for use on the outside of the washstand. The position of the box is made adjustable, by which the vertical adjustment of the basin is made possible. The installation structure of the washstand to allow the close installation of the washstand between walls when the washstand is installed in a corner having the wing walls by devising the sizes and mounting positions of the columnar sections and the box is adopted.
