PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocking chair having excellent sitting comfortableness, carrying easiness and recycling feasibility. SOLUTION: A back part 7 tilted backward by a sitting person's leaning is formed by a lower member 21 fixed to a rocking frame 5 and an upper member 22 fitted thereto. The lower member 21 is made of a resin, and provided with a side frame part 21a to wrap the hip of the sitting person. The side frame part 21a is provided with a hole 23 bored for inserting the hand. Since the strength of the lower member 21 is increased by the rib effect of the side frame part 21a, the lower member 21 can be manufactured by using the resin such as polypropylene inexpensive and with excellent recycling feasibility. Since the sitting person's hip is wrapped by the lower member, sitting comfortableness is good.
