HONEYCOMB SANDWICH PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb sandwich panel by which vacuum resistance can be obtained without performing such a troublesome processing that provides a vent hole on the side face of a honeycomb core and durability can be obtained even when it is used in a space environment. SOLUTION: In the honeycomb sandwich panel 11 in which a surface layer 13 and a back surface layer 11 are provided in a sandwich-like condition on the top and bottom faces of the honeycomb core 12, both or one of the above described surface layer 13 and back surface layer 14 are formed of a fiber- reinforced plastic in which a phenol resin is used as a matrix.
