PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsified hair cosmetic excellent in hairdressing-ability, capable of maintaining a hairstyle once dressed for a long period, not giving inferior touch such as stiff and sticky feelings, and further highly resistant to microorganisms, and to provide a method for producing the emulsified cosmetic, capable of highly safely producing the cosmetic and not exerting adverse effects on emulsion stability thereof. SOLUTION: This emulsified hair cosmetic contains polyoxyethylene-cured caster oil, one or more kinds of oily components, water, and a lower alcohol. The method for producing the emulsified cosmetic comprises preparing an emulsion by heating the oily components and aqueous components at 70-95 deg.C, cooling the emulsion to 30-70 deg.C, and adding the lower alcohol to the cooled emulsion.
