PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a memory card capable of inserting cards in several stages, reducing the occupied area by a board, easily grounding the card, and easily positioning a contact tail. SOLUTION: In this connector for the memory card formed by arranging several stages of connectors respectively composed of a contact 24 and 44, a housing 22 and 42 composed of a main body 26 and a guide 28 for guiding the card, and a fixing member fixed to the board, a fixing member 12 connected to a lower connector 40 is mounted on an uppermost connector 20, a contact member 18 is mounted on the connector 40 at a lower stage, the fixing member 12 has a contact 16 in an insertion groove 36 of the guide 28 and a contact piece 14 in the mounting direction, the contact member 18 has the contact 16 in a card insertion groove 36 of the guide 28, and the contact piece of the fixing member 12 is kept in contact with the contact 18 to be grounded. |
