PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the effective use of resources is made impossible, and that the circuit constitution is made complicate in a conventional recovery method when any defective memory is occurred. SOLUTION: This microprocessor is provided with a program storing part 3 for outputting an instruction to be executed, an NOP instruction storing part 6 for outputting an NOP instruction, a selector circuit 5 for selecting and outputting either the instruction to be executed or the NOP instruction based on an output from an executive instruction selecting part 2, and a microinstruction register 7 for converting the output into a microinstruction. Then, the NOP for preventing the, microprocessor from performing any operation to any instruction written in a defective memory is executed so that a program can be safely executed. Also, the host computer prepares a program corresponding to this function, and realizes the long life of a flash memory. |
