PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcasting receiver which can dissolve nonconformity such as that nothing is indicated at a scaled-down indication part for a received image, in the case of indicating a scale-down received image on an EPG screen. SOLUTION: A system controller 13 reads out program information from a memory 14A, constitutes a program table, indicates the program table on the screen of a picture tube 9 using an OSD circuit 12, also outputs a conversion command to a scanning line converting circuit 7, and indicates the scaled-down image of a selected program on the screen of the picture tube 9. Moreover, the system controller 13 judges, for example, whether a selected program is an uncontracted one, based on the information provided from a CA module 16. If it is the uncontracted one, the controller reads a message 'cannot be looked or listened' out of a nonvolatile memory 14B, and indicates it on the scaled-down image indicator using the OSD circuit 12. |
