PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional switching device capable of making a plurality of functions performed by operation buttons to be sufficiently recognized even though not only the number of the operation buttons but also space needed for the function display of the multifunctional switching device are reduced. SOLUTION: An initial hierarchy display performing means makes a displaying means display an initial hierarchy display image including a designation function display image for designating the type of a target device. The next hierarchy display performing means changes the next hierarchy display image including an operation function display image for selecting the operation contents of the target device of a type corresponding to designation function display to the initial hierarchy display image and makes the displaying means display the initial hierarchy display image when a function display image corresponding to an operation button with which an operation detecting means detects an operation is the designation function display. When a click display performing means detects the operation of an operation button due to an operation detection operation, the click display performing means makes the displaying means display a click display image for transmitting to the effect that the operation button is operated.
