<p>The present invention is a decorative water display (5) including a low maintenance aquatic animal basin (10) capable of supporting aquatic animals (70) such as fish by using a specially designed filter (30) which cooperates with a hollow base (25) of a water sculpture (20), a water pump (40), and a basin (10) containing water. This arrangement allows a water display with a water sculpture (20) such as a statuette or rock formation to provide a decorative environment for supporting aquatic animals (70) which is clean and odor free, which does not endanger the aquatic animals (70), and which has the unexpected result of requiring very low maintenance or de minimus maintenance.</p> |
