PURPOSE: Provided is a nonaqueous electrolyte having an additive which can inhibit collapse of SEI membrane by gas evolution due to the decomposition of the electrolyte in the battery stored at a high temperature, thereby preventing a thickness of a battery from increasing. CONSTITUTION: The electrolyte includes an anode active material selected from LiCoO2, LiMnO2, LiMn2O4, LiNiO2 or a composite compound of LiM1xM2yO2(in which M1 and M2 are a metal element, and x and y are a rational number of 0 to 2); a cathode active material selected from crystalline or amorphous carbon or metallic lithium; a solvent comprising at least one carbonate solvent; an electrolytic salt of at least one lithium salt selected from LiPF6, LiBF4, LiClO4, LiN(SO2CF3)2 and LiN(SO2CH2CH3)2; and an additive of 2-sulfobenzoic acid cyclic anhydride compound represented by formula 1. |
