PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a performance of a scroll compressor by airtightness between scrolls and by heightening compression ratio. SOLUTION: In the scroll compressor in which a fixed scroll 12 having a whirlpool-shaped wall body 12b and a revolving scroll 13 having a whirlpool- shaped wall body 13b and revolving to bring the wall body 12b and 13 b into mesh with each other is provided, the wall bodies 12b and 13b are stepped so that upper margins 12c and 13c are lower and upper margins 12d and 13d are higher and one side of end plates 12(a) and 13(a) is stepped so that bottoms 12f and 13f are higher and 12g and 13g are lower, a plate body 30 movable to a revolving axis of the revolving scroll 13 along the bottom face 12g placed at a periphery side of one side of the fixed scroll is arranged as well as a pressing means 31 pressing the upper margin 13d of the wall body 13b of the revolving scroll 13 is set up. |
