PURPOSE: An image projection device is provided to improve optical efficiency and resolution by adjusting a focus angle with color and reflecting mirrors, and by forming image with using a polarizing beam splitter. CONSTITUTION: An image projection apparatus is composed of a light source(110) irradiating rays unidirectionally; a color separating unit(120) having first and second color mirrors and a reflecting mirror; a lens array(130); a driving unit(140) operating the lens array vertically to the optical axis; a polarizing beam splitter(160) dividing incident rays; reflecting display elements(171,173) forming image from incident rays; a projection lens unit(180) transmitting image from the display elements by magnifying; and a screen(190). Incident rays are divided according to color, and rearranged through the lens array. Divided color bands are irradiated to display elements, and full color is displayed with one pixel of the display element with arranging color bands. Optical efficiency and resolution are improved.
