<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a header for a pipe replacing device, in which size in the axial direction is shorter than a conventional device, and to provide the header for the pipe replacing device, in which a maintenance cycle is long. SOLUTION: In the header 4 for the pipe replacing device, a rotary cutter 30 rotatable around a sub-axis in the circumferential direction of a cutting section is installed to the cutting section 30 while a hydraulic motor 31 driving the rotary cutter 30 and a driving system 32 are incorporated. When the header 4 proceeds in an existing pipe, rotating the rotary cutter 30, a cut groove is formed to the internal surface of the existing pipe. A gear or a water jet nozzle may also be mounted in place of the rotary cutter 30.</p> |
