PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking mechanism of a telescopic member housed in a remarkably reduced housing space. SOLUTION: The device is a locking mechanism of a telescopic member such as a boom for a mobile crane, and makes an inner side telescopic member move in a linear direction against an outer side telescopic member and includes a lock bolt for locking the telescopic members each other. The lock bolt is retained at a projecting position by an energizing force but moves in a reverse position by an operation of a rotation operation device.
