<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse compression-type radar device whose detection resolution is enhanced with reference to both a long-distance target and a short- range target. SOLUTION: Two pulses P1, P2 which are cascaded in a time-series manner at a time interval D and whose pulse widths are different are generated. The pulses P1, P2 are frequency-modulated, a chirp signal is generated so as to be amplified, and a transmission detection signal is generated. Pulse widths and frequency bands of the pulses P1, P2 are set in the respective pulses according to their use. Thereby, a plurality of pulses whose pulse widths are different can be separated in terms of time without their separation in terms of a frequency. A signal degradation caused by their separation in terms of the frequency is suppressed, and the detection resolution of the radar device can be enhanced.</p> |
