PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of the deterioration in characteristics in other components by the heat generation of components by dealing with the heat generation in a drive section of a polygon mirror. SOLUTION: A cover body 12 which covers the upper part of a housing 11 is provided with a bearing 13 for bearing a revolving shaft 14 of a rotor 15 constituting a polygon motor to rotatably drive the polygon mirror 17 and the bottom of the housing 11 is provided with a coil 22 of a stator core 12 and a driver IC 23 of a circuit board 19 which are heat generating sources. The positional relations between the heat generating sources and the bearing 13 in the housing 11 are separated vertically, by which the bearing 13 is isolated from the heat generating sources. |
