PURPOSE: An advertising method and a system using a mail and a domain name server are provided to run an advertisement on a mail server and a home page without employing a banner advertisement. CONSTITUTION: An advertising method using a mail and a domain-name server comprises the step of adding, deleting or changing a data during transmitting or receiving the data on a computer system. The computer system is connected with each other through network means. The data is an electronic mail data. Alternatively, the data is a home page on a web-site. The data to be added, deleted or changed is an advertisement. A text data containing the data to be added, deleted or changed is changed into an advertisement letter.
