PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior finish building material which can be constructed even if the level of skill of workers required for preparation and installation of building materials is lowered or labor of the workers is saved, and can be recycled, and to provide an interior finish structure for a building. SOLUTION: The interior finish structure includes two plates 1a and 1b and the interior finish building material 2 consisting of a fixing member 4 and a covering member 5. The plates 1a and 1b are adjacently arranged across a gap 3. The fixing member 4 has an attaching portion 4a which is attached onto rear surfaces of the respective plates 1a and 1b along the same, and a support portion 4b which is arranged at the attaching portion 4a and protrudes from a location between the plates 1a and 1b in a front direction of the plates 1a and 1b. The covering member 5 has a cover main body 5a which covers at least a part of the gap 3 between the plates 1a and 1b on the front side, and a projection 5b which is arranged on a rear surface of the cover main body 5a to be detachably attached to the support portion 4b.
