PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording apparatus which can control a minute oscillation corresponding to a characteristic and a kind of ink, especially, a permeability for a recording medium of ink. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording apparatus is provided with a recording head 8 having a nozzle opening 51 and a minute oscillation means 35 which oscillates ink at the nozzle opening 51. A minute oscillation signal generating means generates a minute oscillation control signal based on a permeability of ink which is supplied to the opening 51 to a recording medium 18. A minute vibration control means 6 drives the minute oscillation means 35 based on the minute oscillation control signal. |
