PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain opening and closing device, which enables electric opening and closing of each separated two types of curtains, as well as space saving. SOLUTION: A couple of a wire-driving unit 18a and 18b, each of which can drives wires separately, are provided in a left side frame 5. A wire 33a, rolled up on and drove by a driving pulley 21a, is first rolled up on 31a, sequentially rolled up on a pulley 10a, 10c, 10e, 11a, 10f, 10d, 10b, and 31b to be driven, finally returned to the driving pulley 21a. A wire 33b, starting from a driving pulley 21b, is also sequentially rolled up on and driven by a pulley 21c, 10h, 10j, and 101. Both on an upper rail 2 and a lower rail 3, each provided in parallel position, a front curtain rail frame, which guides a curtain runner 38a and other curtain runner for a curtain 42a and 50a arranged in front side, and a back curtain rail frame, which guides a curtain runner 38b and other curtain runner for a curtain 42b and 50b arranged in back side, are each formed in parallel together.
