The sanitary flange with a built-in water-economy siphon is a device intended to save water whenever the toilet is flushed. It saves up to 46 % water in comparison with the wax ring (typical system used in toilets with a 12 liter tank) and represents an improvement to the turbo flange patent. The improvement roughly involves changing the system located directly on the floor into which the toilet flushes. By reducing the diameter thereof, the air concentrated in the tube is minimized thereby exerting a pressure that will increase the speed, said variables being responsible for water expenditure. The improvement involves lengthening the two inch tube to an optimum length (in the range of 20 to 40 cm) to eliminate the impact of the water in the elbow of the tube of the piping, thereby preventing the speed of the water coming from the flush to be reduced. An additional 19 % water can be saved in comparison with the turbo flange when the toilet is flushed.
|
