<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device capable of controlling a development of abrasion on a contact face to maintain stably power transmission characteristics and locking characteristics for a long time. SOLUTION: A cam plate 4 is stored inside a clutch housing 1. A fixed contact face 1a on an inner circumferential face of the clutch housing is faced radially with a movable contact face 4a on an outer circumferential face of the cam plate 4. By a ball cam mechanism 7, the cam plate is shifted to one axial direction when rotating power is input to a first rotation axis 2 for separating the movable contact face from the fixed contact face to be unlocked and the cam plate is shifted to another axial direction when rotating power is input to a second rotation axis 3 for pressing the movable contact face against the fixed contact face to be locked. Abrasion resistance coating films 20 are formed on both contact faces to prevent abrasion of the contact faces at the time of separating and pressing against.</p> |
