PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating device which can realize the cycle states of performance, operating current, temperature and the like equal to those of a conventional refrigerating device by using a new refrigerant and new refrigerating machine oil without changing an inverter capacity. SOLUTION: The refrigerating device comprises an outlet gas pressure sensor 102 for detecting the outlet gas pressure of a scroll compressor 1a, an outlet gas temperature sensor 104 for detecting outlet gas temperature, refrigerant piping 10 for liquid injection branching from the downstream side of a condenser 2 and connected to the intermediate pressure chamber of the scroll compressor 1a through a valve 12, a controller 201 for obtaining the degree of superheat of the refrigerant from the relation between the outlet gas temperature detected by the outlet gas temperature sensor 104 and the outlet gas pressure detected by the outlet gas pressure sensor 102 to control the degree of opening of the valve 12, and a setting device 203 for setting the kind of the refrigerant.
