<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner exhibiting good fixing property at low temperature, offset resistance at high temperature and developing property. SOLUTION: In the toner containing a binder resin, a coloring agent, wax and an organic iron compound, the binder resin contains a hybrid resin component having 2 to 40 mgKOH/g acid value and polyester units and vinyl polymer units. The toner has a tetrahydrofuran insoluble component by 2 to 50 wt.% based on the binder resin. The tetrahydrofuran soluble component has the main peak from 2,000 to 15,000 mol.wt. by gel permeation chromatography and contains the component having >=100,000 to <10,000,000 mol.wt. by 5 to 40 wt.%, the component of >=5,000 to <100,000 mol.wt. by 40 to 70 wt.%, and the component of >=1,000 to <5,000 mol.wt. by 10 to 30 wt.%. The organic iron compound is a complex and/or complex salt of specified monoazo compounds and iron atoms.</p> |
