PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small electric device capable of surely holding a mounted battery and preventing the permanent set in fatigue of a terminal coming in contact with the battery. SOLUTION: A holding part 3 having a first hood part 3c elastically shrinkable and pushed out to an opening part 2a side of a battery housing part 2, and a second hood part 4b opposing the first hood part 3c through the opening part 2a are integratedly installed in a case 4 having a battery housing part 2, and a pressing part 3b of the holding part 3 is pressure contacted with the side surface of the battery 1 within the battery housing part 2. The battery 1 can surely be held from the side by the pressing part 3b and a side wall 4c by the spring force of the holding part 3 without applying a mechanical load to a first terminal 7 elastically contacted with an electrode on the side surface of the battery 1. Since the holding part 3 is highly elastically-shrinkable, the effect on the prevention of coming off of the battery 1 can be enhanced by increasing the pushed out amount of the first hood part 3c or the second hood part 4b.
