PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ashtray equipped with a basket, capable of simply separating a mixture of cigarette stubs and water added to a container of the ashtray for the purpose of extinguishing fire, so that the mixture can be disposed at the same time when the cigarette ashtray is cleaned. SOLUTION: This ashtray is composed of a main body (7) to which a basket (4) is inserted into the inside so that the basket is superposed on the main body, wherein the main body is covered with a freely attachable and detachable top cover (1) which is equipped with cigarette inlets (2) and has edges (3) in its periphery.
