PURPOSE:To provide a copying machine, which can judge that the paper housed inside of a paper feeding tray is a regenerated paper or not easily and securely. CONSTITUTION:An optical sensor 2 having a light emitting part and a light receiving part is provided inside of each paper feeding tray 1. When the paper is housed in the tray 1 and the tray 1 is housed in a copying machine main body, the optical sensor 2 emits the light to measure the intensity of the reflected light from the paper. When a control board of the copying machine judges that the paper inside of the tray is a regenerated paper on the basis of a result of the measurement, it is displayed in a display panel of an operation part 6. |
