PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder of cutting razor facilitating a cutting work. SOLUTION: A cutting razor 1 is provided with a holder 2 and a blade part 3. The holder 2 is provided with a haft part 4 and a blade mounting member 5. The blade mounting member 5 is integrally inserted into and formed with the haft part 4. A finger insertion opening 7 is formed in the base end part of the haft part 4. A finger hanging part 8 is formed at the base end side of the haft part 4. The minor axis (the effective diameter of the finger insertion opening 7) T of the finger insertion opening 7 (a roughly oval shape) is set as a length permitting the free rotation of the cutting razor 1 in such a condition that a third finger is inserted into the finger insertion opening 7. A length M from the tip of the finger hanging part 8 to the finger hanging part 8 side end part of the finger insertion opening 7 in the lengthwise direction of the haft part 4 is set at 1.4 times of the effective diameter T of the finger insertion opening 7. A length L from the blade holding part 5b side end part of the finger insertion opening 7 in the lengthwise direction of the haft part 4 to the blade holding part 5b is set at the length that is 3.2 times of the effective diameter T of the finger insertion opening 7.
