METHOD FOR HUMIDIFYING OR WETTING BULK MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for uniformly humidifying or wetting bulk material with liquid or paste. SOLUTION: In this method for humidifying and wetting bulk material, fluid or paste is cooled to a temperature lower than a freezing point thereof before being mixed with the bulk material to be wetted. By re-liquefaction of the fluid or paste which is subjected to solidification treatment during or after the mixing with the bulk material, humidification or wetting is performed. This method enables the humidification or the wetting of the bulk material which is uniform and generates no agglomeration.
