PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of prevention of duplication effective also for a straight-line pattern. SOLUTION: This printed matter 10 has a base 15 and a printed line area 20 provided on the base 15 and having a first printed line area 21 and a second printed line area 22. The first printed line area 21 is comprised of a large number of first printed line parts 1 each constituted of first printed elements in the shape of lines in a plurality. The second printed line area 22 is comprised of a large number of second printed line parts 2 each constituted of second printed elements in the shape of lines in a plurality. The total value of the widths of the first printed elements constituting each of the first printed line parts 1 is almost equal to that of the widths of the second printed elements constituting each of the second printed line parts 2.
