PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation ridge structure of a roof and a construction method therefor capable of installing even thick tiles such as earthenware tile and cement tile securely so as to ventilate a ridge part. SOLUTION: A waterproof seal 15 having waterproof property is provided between the roof tile 3 and a coping 5 positioned in the vicinity of the ridge part 10 above a tip on a ridge side of the roof tile 3, and a ventilation ridge main body 17 is attached by covering the coping 5 and crossing over the ridge part 10.
