PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detection device executing an analog operation in a non-contact system by using magnetism with a simple structure. SOLUTION: In this device, a cylindrical magnet magnetized in the direction of one diameter is rotated through a worm gear mechanism by a shaft whose rotation angle is to be detected, and a magnetic sensor is arranged close to the circumference of the cylindrical magnet.
