TURNTABLE DRIVER FOR DISK PLAYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress both backlash and shake of the rotary shaft of a motor. SOLUTION: This device 1 rotates the turntable 3 of a disk player and is provided with a spindle motor 5, a bearing 7 and a wire spring 9. The motor 5 has a rotary shaft 11 that is connected to the turntable 3. The bearing 7 is placed at the side of the shaft 11 and has a pair of sloping surfaces 7a which open toward the shaft 11 as to hold the shaft and which can touch the shaft 11. The spring 9 energizes the bearing 7 toward the shaft 11.
