<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member attached to a cable, which can eliminate accidents such as breakdown of a lead wire and assures easier assembling work, by adsorbing and alleviating excessive tension or twisting of the lead wire, such as the power transmission cable, telephone cable and TV cable or the like generated by earthquake, storm or snow or the like. SOLUTION: This member attached to a cable is composed of a compression-type spring 2, having the predetermined elastic coefficient; and a couple of coupling members 6a, 6b including a returning portion 3 which is formed by returning an elastic wire as the curving portion from the center, and spring engaging ends 5, 5 which are formed by returning each end portion to the external side of both-side rod portions 4, 4 twisted and extended in two ways from the returning portion 3. A pair of coupling members are provided freely rotatable at the internal circumference of the compression-type spring, and a pair of coupling members can be freely expanded and compressed, depending on the compression deformation of the compression-type spring when both rod portions of each coupling member are inserted to cross with each other from the opposite directions into the internal passing portion 7 of the compression type spring, and thereby the respective spring-engaging end portions of the coupling members is engaged with each end portion of the compression-type spring.</p> |
