PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication karaoke system in which more efficient utilization of storage resources is made at a communication karaoke performance terminal by providing an innovative control form for karaoke data. SOLUTION: Performance histories at communication karaoke performance terminals 5 are collected to a host device 3 at an appropriate time, frequencies of performance for every music ID are computed and the music ID having a small frequency of performance is selected based on the collected result. At an opportune time, the selected music ID is transmitted and downloaded to the terminals 5 from the device 3. The terminals 5 store the transmitted music ID as an object to be erased and erase karaoke data corresponding to the music ID from respective storage resources. When a performance reservation is made at the terminal 5 for the erasing object music ID, the terminal 5 downloads the corresponding karaoke data from the device 3 to perform the karaoke music. |
