DEVICE FOR APPLYING COATINGS

The proposed device for applying coatings comprises an application brush (1) with a metal pile (2) and an element (3) consisting of the coating material. The brush pile picks up coating particles from the said element and transfers them to the article to be treated (10), thereby strengthening the surface of the article and the applied coating. The axis (0-0) of rotation of the article (3) is perpendicular to the normal and the tangent of the cylindrical end face of the pile (2) of the brush (1), i.e. parallel to the generatrix of the said end face. The device is provided with a vibrator (5), a drive for introducing and withdrawing the element (3), and with a drive for turning the element (3) about the axis (01-01) perpendicular to its own axis (0-0) of rotation.
