<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump capable of suppressing electric erosion of terminals even if a highly conductive component is included in a fuel and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: As the terminals 51, 52 held by a mold body 55 have circumferences of their root parts 512, 522 molded by insulated parts 53 and 54, even if a whole fuel pump 1 is dipped in the highly conductive fuel, fuel electronic corrosion at the root parts 512, 522 can be prevented. The terminals 51, 52 in a connector housing 44 do not contact with the fuel and the fuel in the housing 11 does not leak out as perfect sealing is facilitated by press-fitting of resins of the insulated part 53 and 54 and press-fit holes 45 and 46 of a cover end 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
