PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home page retrieval service capable of accessing a home page for providing article information with simple operation. SOLUTION: An article information retrieval page 1a for retrieving an information home page from a URL database 1b, in which correspondence between the code information of a bar code attached to an article and the URL of the information home page for providing information concerning the article is stored, on the basis of the inputted code information, is provided on the Internet. Thus, a customer can easily read the information home page by inputting the code information attached to the article or the like to the article information retrieval page 1a while using a bar code scanner 33. Besides, a URL database 1b can be updated by registering or deleting as required by a registered person through the Internet and cost in maintenance and management for the provider of the home page retrieval service can be suppressed. |
