PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for a heating element by which the heating element can be cooled uniformly. SOLUTION: The heating element is arranged at a heat sink 60A. An inflow port 33 for cooling water to a group of channels 32, which are constituted of the fin 61 and the base of the heat sink 60A, is formed. An inflow-side header 34 is installed in the intermediate part between the inflow port 33 and the group of channels 32. An outflow-side header 35 is installed on the downstream side of the channels 32. An outflow port 36, which discharges the cooling water, is formed on the opposite side of the inflow port 33. The width of the channel, which is close to the inflow port 33, is designated as Wb, the width of the channel which is distant from the inflow port is designated as Wc, and the width of the central channel is set as Wa. Then, the relation Wb>Wc>Wa holds.
