PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system which distribute information to users interested in this information on the Internet in accordance with previously defined alternatives. SOLUTION: The method for communication between servers and clients is comprised of a step where a communication module is embedded in a multimedia medium having a music program stored, a step where this audiovisual medium is distributed to users, and a step where the communication module where codes which can be executed by a computer to establish a communication link to a server are stored is installed in the computer at the time of reproducing the music program stored in the multimedia medium by the computer.
