PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing controller for preventing the deterioration of a processing speed due to the competing use of a bus. SOLUTION: Page descriptive language describing print data received from a host computer 46 by a host I/F 41 is analyzed by one of CPU 1, 2, 3, and 4, and the print data are converted into intermediate data for one page. The converted intermediate data are preserved in a RAM on a BUS to which the CPU which performs the analysis processing is connected. The preserved intermediate data are developed to a picture frame for each page by another CPU. At that time, the reference of data is operated through a bus arbitrary device 61. The picture frame is prepared in the RAM on the BUS to which the CPU which performs plot development is connected, and the operation of each CPU is not affected by the operation of another CPU. The picture frames are read by the CPU which performs print processing successively from the picture frame whose plotting is ended, and the print processing is performed, and the processing is ended. |
