The passage consists of a central hole (4) in a main body (1) of stainless steel, heat resistant plastic, resin or ceramic, which has an outer circular orifice with up to twenty slots (6) for the cables or sensors passing between two seals (2, 3) made from a material resistant to vapour and heat. A solid plug (7) applies a pressure to the seals, and the passage is closed by a stopper (8) and screw (9).
