PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic auction method and a web site system which give a client an incentive to advertise in a web page. SOLUTION: The web site system 1 opens a web page 4 for registered members and a web page 6 for clients to the public on the Internet and invites business support service including advertisement in the registered-member web page 4 through the client web page 6. The web site system 1 puts at auction an article provided as the value for the business support service by a client 51 provided with the business support service in an auction page as one of registered-member web pages 4 and carries out the auction by using as bidding currency mileage given to a registered member 50 having accessed the registered-member web page 4.
