<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the looseness of a tape in the case of stopping a high- speed winding up operation in a magnetic recording/reproducing device. SOLUTION: The looseness amount of the tape generated in a braking operation from a high-speed winding up operation is judged by using reel pulses detected by a rotation detector set in each of reels 2 and 3, and an area ratio P calculated from both the reel pulses, and a winding up processing is performed in accordance with the looseness amount at that time.</p> |
