The invention relates to a valve of a pressure bottle (2), especially for appliances used for producing soda water. Said valve is comprised of a housing (1), in which an outer connection thread (17) and an overflow channel (13) are formed, whereby a sleeve-bearing discharge needle (4) is located in the overflow channel (13). The discharge needle is provided with a through-channel (41) covered by a rupture membrane (8) and is pressed against the sealing seat (16) of the housing (1) by means of a spring (5). The invention is characterized in that the rupture membrane (8) is pulled by a cap nut (10) onto the top face of the outwardly directed discharge needle (4).
