An adjuster (20-25) setting the two rows of inlaying discs (10) in the central plane between upper and lower folding sheets (2, 3) is directly or indirectly connected to an adjuster for both rows of inlaying discs. Adjustment is such that the angle formed by the common tangents of the two rows of inlaying discs, is so large, that the discs tightly pull-out the inner edge folds at the sides. Preferred features: To adjust both rows of inlaying discs in the central plane between upper and lower folding sheets, the row carriers are held on two bars (18). These can be pivoted about a transverse axis mounted in the machine frame (1), at the outlet of the folding sheets. An adjustment unit (22-26) pivots the bars at the inlet side. The carrier pivots about a vertical axis at the outlet, mounted on the bar (18). At the inlet side it can be moved by a lifting mechanism in the plane of the inlaying disc, transmitting pivoting motion of the bar to the carrier (15-17). The inlaying disc carrier is made of angle sections (16, 17). Strips (15) parallel to the folding sheets, are carried by limbs (16) of the angle section, and support the inlaying discs. The vertical sections (17) have projections (35) moving in the bar (18), with a system of levers and carrying rollers carried in guides associated with the machine frame and bar (18). |
